PlantWave translates plant biorhythms into music. Simply attach two sensors to a plant’s leaves and PlantWave connects wirelessly to a mobile device running our app. The app has instruments on it we’ve built for plants to play.

PlantWave works by detecting slight variation in electrical resistance of plants. It graphs those changes as a wave, translates them into pitch and routes those pitch messages to play instruments designed by our team. The result is a continuous stream of pleasing music that gives us all a sonic window into the secret life of plants.
